In this paper, which also utilised CRISPR, the researchers combined loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) with a sensitive CRISPR-Cas12a silver nanocluster fluorescence sensing system, for testing for adulteration in meat samples. The specific sequence recognition of CRISPR-Cas12a allowed accurate identification of the target DNA.
