Juliette Jensen will be presenting her research for her doctorate in Business Administration. She highlights that 80% of the organic meat supply chain is shared with conventional, giving an opportunity for fraud. The presentation will cover risk factors such as training, economic stability, climate and cocation, lack of a definitive test, certification, organisational ethos and procurement practices. There is no Government surveillance on organic verification and limited enforcement of requirements. The consequences were found to be insufficient, failing to act as a deterrent.
