This free, two day, conference covers a range of topics mainly of interest to laboratory scientists and analysts. Sessions run from 11.00 to 15.00 EST on each day. The first session (24 July, 11.00 EST / 16.00 BST) is organised by FAN. Two experts from our Centres of Expertise, Kate Kemsley and Cathy Frankis, will discuss and take live Q&As on the critical aspects of untargeted test methods for food authenticity verification.
Other sessions in the conference include advances in micro-SPME, use of thermal infrared cameras for salmonella detection, and applications of NIR and NIRS in food analysis.
