From 5 to 7 November 2025, the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture and the National Reference Centre for Authentic Food at the Max Rubner-Institut are organising an international conference on food fraud in Berlin. The conference aims to enhance the collaboration of authorities at European and international level. It will focus on groundbreaking topics for the future, such as early-warning systems, approaches to fight food fraud, geopolitical influences and data management challenges when detecting food fraud with analytical methods.
