New Genomics Techniques in Livestock Breeding: Detection, Traceability, and Policy Perspectives Across Europe and Beyond
This week saw the launch of the new NGT Community of Practice, initiated by the EU-funded project DETECTIVE. Membership of the CoP is free, and members have access to a series of online technical seminars and webinars. The first of these is on 10 September, 14.00 CEST. This webinar explores detection, traceability, and policy perspectives on NGTs in livestock breeding, offering first-hand insights into EU, UK, and US approaches and why engaging in the CoP matters now.
The CoP brings together breeders (plant & animal), laboratories, enforcement authorities, policymakers, industry, and civil society in a trusted, neutral environment to exchange perspectives, share knowledge, and co-develop solutions.
