13722287257?profile=RESIZE_710xThe Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Regional Identity and the National Reference Centre for Authentic Food at the Max Rubner-Institut are hosting an international conference on food fraud that aims to enhance the collaboration of authorities at European and international level. 

The conference will focus on key topics relating to food fraud such as early-warning systems, approaches to fighting food fraud, influences of geopolitical issues, the impact of climate change, and data management challenges.

The conference language will be English; simultaneous translation into German will be available. The programme includes presentations by speakers from national, European and international organisations. 

Stakeholders with a particular focus on food fraud from Germany, other EU member states and the international level are most welcome to attend the conference, including representatives from competent authorities (such as food surveillance, customs, justice, public prosecution, police), ministries, parliaments, associations (consumer protection, the civil society), industry, science and from the media (specialised journalists).
