2017 code of practice on basmati rice...any updated analytical methods?

There is an updated code of practice on basmati rice varieties which lists 28 additional varieties that can be labelled as basmati rice http://www.riceassociation.org.uk/content/1/47/2017-basmati-code-of-practice.html . I am wondering if there are any plans to update the original FSA methods that were developed around the 2005 code of practise?

Thanks for your post Steve. I think it is accepted that the methods do need to be updated. When this will happen will depend on the relative priorities for research funding going forward.
