Additional information about your food authenticity interests
I work in the technology transfer office of The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), one of the councils that makes up UKRI. Scientists at STFC have developed a novel broadband FTIR spectrometer which we hope to license subject to identification of strong use cases. We believe there are use cases in food authenticity testing and are keen to explore this with interested parties. We have already been working with a company in the food industry to demonstrate its capabilities with herbs and spices, but we would like to explore further uses. Of particular interest is honey.
